GIS Explorer

The Government of Meghalaya is enabling Geographic Information System (GIS) based planning and decision making through the Center of Excellence. The GIS Explorer brings together various spatial layers like drainage, slope, geo-morphology, landuse landcover to create a colour coded map for communities to be able to bolster the efforts towards sustainable natural resource management and aid planning of location-specific soil and water conservation measures.
